Toy cameras have always held a spot in my camera bag. It is a great creative exercise for photographers. There are no safety nets when shooting toy cameras. You really don’t know what you’ve shot until you have developed negatives in front of you. With some time and a few rolls, you can get a feel for any toy camera. They still surprise you every once in a while but, that is really where the fun is.

I took all of these shots with my oldest Holga (not my most reliable Holga). There are a few good examples of light leaks and loose film in these shots. In the end, toy cameras create fun snapshots that add some mood to images.
